How Japz Cadeliña continues to grow with the flow in the production industry

The demands and standards of the creative industry are ever evolving. Just like businesses in other industries, production companies constantly need to keep up with new trends and styles. Japz Cadeliña’s leadership of CJPM Events and Marketing is a testament to the importance of adaptability in the business side of production.

Japz Cadeliña is the creative director and CEO of CJPM Events and Marketing, a company that services both production services and events management. His team comprises five multimedia artists, two writers, and a few account managers and administrative staff. Their company’s brand is known for having an elegant, clean, and balanced look. 

In 2016, CJPM Events and Marketing started as a production company. At the time, their main services were photo and video coverages for events, as well as corporate digital ads. The company was ahead of their time when they started providing livestream services in 2018, because these services boomed during the pandemic, alongside the production of virtual events. By 2023, when the lockdown and pandemic eased out, the company transitioned to producing hybrid events, and they are now a full pledge 360 events management team. They are set to celebrate their 10th anniversary in February 2026.

As the company’s success story suggests, Cadeliña leads a very adaptable team. When faced with a new environment, they work together to adjust their services based on what their clients need. “You should always be on trend, and you should always be able to follow through the requirements and the likes of the client, because sometimes it really depends on the client. Some clients are in a traditional route, some in the younger route,” Cadeliña shares.

He also highlights the importance of doing research and getting inspiration from other companies to effectively stay up to date with the latest production trends. “Trends are key for me. Hindi pwede na yung style mo for last year pa.” 

For the past nine years, CJPM Events and Marketing has pulled in a lot of loyal clients, with some consistently availing their services for over 12 years. “For me, success is the repetition of the clients going to you. Business is not a one-time deal. It’s done frequently, on a regular basis,” Cadeliña expresses. To him, success is not just monetary, but it is also the fulfillment of giving the requirements to his clients every time they need it.

This consistency stems from Japz Cadeliña’s passion for what he does. Even if his team may sometimes lack the passion or inspiration, as their leader, he finds ways to keep them going strong. He shares, “In terms of the team members, sometimes, the passion is not there, and sometimes they really lack inspiration in terms of doing things creatively so that’s definitely one of my problems or issues before until now, definitely.” However, these moments of discouragement never stopped their company from producing quality services that clients continuously seek.
